ffmpeg2theora-0.16 has an infinite loop bug of some kind that I have not quite diagnosed. ffmpeg2theora-0.17 is available and may or may not fix that, which I am testing now; bug #164469 . ffmpeg2theora requires ffmpeg with libswscalar. I've created an ffmpeg-0.4.9-p20070129 that allows ffmpeg2theora-0.17 to compile. (As a side note, does gentoo create nightly snapshots of ffmpeg? I tar'd up ffmpeg I svn'd down, but when creating the digest, it actually pulled it off the mirrors, surprisingly). Reproducible: Always
Created attachment 108533 [details] informational diff for helping to see changes changes against ffmpeg-0.4.9-p-20061016 were: - libdir patch seemingly no longer needed - --enable-swscalar to configure I pulled this from ffmpeg svn on 20070129.

Sorry about the redundant bump -- I must've --sync'd before it hit the mirrors.
