Description Yuval Langer 2007-01-29 14:07:39 UTC
I'm on a ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~x86"
system and when I "emerge maxima" portage wants to emerge gcl although I haven't set USE="gcl" anywhere, not in /etc/make.conf and not in /etc/portage/package.use
maxima's USE flags are: "X readline -ansi -debug -doc -emacs -tk"

The version I'm trying to emerge is maxima-5.11.0

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge "=maxima-5.11.0"
2. ...
3. No profit, I'm still poor.

Actual Results:
emerge maxima emerge gcl, too

Expected Results:
emerge maxima doesn't emerge gcl

Well, it simply won't work without some implementation of Lisp, and gcl is the default if you don't choose another one yourself. Not much that can be done about that...
