There was an upstream-update of net-im/jabberd. 
For the list of new features, see http://jabberd.org/news/
jabberd was renamed to jabberd14 upstream, so i created a new ebuild. 
Please find the ebuild and the init file attached.

1.6.0 has few problems, please reopen when 1.6.1 comes out.

respect DESTDIR in make install when installing .po files

Just bumping the old ebuild and removing the patches did not work for me as make install lead to a sandbox violation. I'm attaching a fix for that (running eautoreconf is required after applying that patch; alternatively Makefile.in could be patched instead of Makefile.am but I don't think that's a clean solution).
Maybe this patch will already be in 1.6.1 as I sent it to the developer.

1.6.1.1 is there.
