Description Jeffrey Forman (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-02-25 17:15:19 UTC
Upon emerging gnome, and other packages, I have come across some "unexpected end
of file" errors, found in the .ebuild file of the respective package. Never any
rhyme or reason as to which package, have ranged from app-admin to media-libs.

Reproducible: Sometimes
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Adding a } (curly close brace) to the end of the suspect file.
2.
3.

Actual Results:
After adding curly brace to end of respective ebuild file, end of file error
disappears and package emerges as expected.

these errors can be caused by problematic rsync mirrors. however, without knowing what specific mirror you sync'd against last, it's difficult/impossible to identify and resolve the issue.

When possible, please note the rsync mirror in question when noting these types of issues.

closing as cantfix.

Obsolete bug, closing.
