I sent the following mail to the authorÄs of the man page but b/c the date is 1995.03.31 I decided to file a bug here too: Hi, nice tool, but please have a look and the result for executable scripts: tfoerste@n22 ~/devel/wireshark/trunk/docbook $ chmod 755 test.sh tfoerste@n22 ~/devel/wireshark/trunk/docbook $ dos2unix test.sh dos2unix: converting file test.sh to UNIX format ... tfoerste@n22 ~/devel/wireshark/trunk/docbook $ ls -l test.sh -rw------- 1 tfoerste users 0 Jan 21 11:17 test.sh Reproducible: Always
And at least the email address seems no longer to be valid: Hi. This is the qmail-send program at mail.gmx.net. I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following addresses. This is a permanent error; I've given up. Sorry it didn't work out. <blin@socs.uts.edu.au>: 138.25.8.31_does_not_like_recipient./Remote_host_said:_550_<blin@socs.uts.edu.au>:_Recipient_address_rejected:_Old_domain,_please_try_blin@it.uts.edu.au/Giving_up_on_138.25.8.31./

Already been fixed in 3.1-r1, see Bug 163872 for stabilization.
And what with unix2dos? If bug 163408 is a duplicate, so bug wasn't fixed :/
