VLC gives a Segmentation fault when I try to run VLC

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.run the command "vlc" in console
2.

Actual Results:  
vlc

media-video/vlc cddb dvd flac mp3 mpeg ogg skins vorbis xosd truetype vcd

adding the wxwindows use flag fixed the problem
