Hello, 
 
Please find attached the convert-asn1.tar.bz2 file containing the 
Convert-ASN1-0.16-r1.ebuild.   
 
Convert-ASN1 is a replacement Perl Convert module for BER.  It offers some 
enhancement over BER and can coexist.  Site url is 
http://www.cpan.org/modules/by-module/LWP/GBARR/Convert-ASN1-0.16.readme and 
the package is distributed under the same license as Perl.  
 
For consistency with other perl modules, I would suggest it be added at 
dev-perl/Convert-ASN1.

you can use g-cpan.pl to install this locally, anthony.

we're working on incorporating g-cpan.pl into portage directly (see bug 3450)
