Description Miroslav Šulc gentoo-dev 2007-01-21 01:41:57 UTC
Please add your arch to these packages. They are needed by netbeans-5.5-r2 ebuild (not committed yet).

dev-java/sun-jaxp-bin-1.3.1.01
dev-java/sun-sjsxp-bin-1.0
dev-java/sun-fastinfoset-bin-1.0.1
dev-java/sun-jaxws-bin-2.0-r1
dev-java/jsr250-1.0
dev-java/sun-saaj-bin-1.3
dev-java/jsr181-0.7
dev-java/sun-jaxb-bin-2.0-r2
dev-java/sun-jaxrpc-bin-1.1.3.01
Comment 1 Diego Elio Pettenò (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-01-21 15:13:50 UTC
emerge: there are no ebuilds to satisfy "=dev-java/sun-jaxb-bin-2.0-r1".

I suppose it's sun-jaxb-bin-1.3.1.01 ?
Comment 2 Diego Elio Pettenò (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-01-21 15:16:29 UTC
Nevermind, I'm out of caffeine, it's 2.0-r2, the other is jax*p*-bin.
They always have so much fantasy for names?
Comment 3 William L. Thomson Jr. (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-01-21 17:30:20 UTC
All packages have been keyworded for ~amd64. Removing arch from cc.
Comment 4 Diego Elio Pettenò (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-01-21 18:08:21 UTC
Fixed all of them now (or rather fixing right now).
Comment 5 Krzysztof Pawlik (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-01-21 18:57:55 UTC
Miroslav: you've requested parts of jwsdp to go ~arch, please do so for the rest of packages too in future. All packages from JWSDP:

dev-java/sun-fastinfoset-bin/sun-fastinfoset-bin-1.0.1.ebuild
dev-java/sun-jaxb-bin/sun-jaxb-bin-2.0-r2.ebuild
dev-java/sun-jaxp-bin/sun-jaxp-bin-1.3.1.01.ebuild
dev-java/sun-jaxr-bin/sun-jaxr-bin-1.0.8.01.ebuild
dev-java/sun-jaxrpc-bin/sun-jaxrpc-bin-1.1.3.01.ebuild
dev-java/sun-jaxws-bin/sun-jaxws-bin-2.0-r1.ebuild
dev-java/sun-jwsdp-shared-bin/sun-jwsdp-shared-bin-2.0-r1.ebuild
dev-java/sun-saaj-bin/sun-saaj-bin-1.3.ebuild
dev-java/sun-sjsxp-bin/sun-sjsxp-bin-1.0.ebuild
dev-java/sun-wsdp-bin/sun-wsdp-bin-2.0.ebuild
dev-java/sun-xmldsig-bin/sun-xmldsig-bin-1.0.1.ebuild
dev-java/sun-xws-security-bin/sun-xws-security-bin-2.0.ebuild

Missing ~amd64 for:

dev-java/sun-jaxr-bin
dev-java/sun-wsdp-bin
dev-java/sun-xmldsig-bin
dev-java/sun-xws-security-bin

@amd64: could you also keyword above packages?
Comment 6 Diego Elio Pettenò (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-01-21 19:02:25 UTC
Err, why? The ones fordfrog asked for are needed for netbeans, I'm not going to keyword packages just for the sake of it for now, unless you give me a final user package to test them with.
Comment 7 Miroslav Šulc gentoo-dev 2007-01-21 19:34:13 UTC
nelchael, I really do not see a reason for requesting ~arch on these packages as I do not need them for any ebuild. But maybe I'm missing something, could you please clarify that?
Comment 8 Krzysztof Pawlik (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-01-21 22:21:05 UTC
Those packages are *part* of Sun JWSDP, so IMHO they should be all keyworded (meta package: dev-java/sun-wsdp-bin).
Comment 9 William L. Thomson Jr. (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-01-22 05:22:19 UTC
Unless they are either pulled in as a dependency, or a user is requesting the keyword or etc. There is no reason to randomly go off keywording a given package for all possible archs. Ideally sure, but who has that kind of time. More so with fetch restricted stuff :(

As is we are having problems with stabilization of some archs. So again unless there is a need, the less keywords, in a sense the better.
