when using the latest gentoo-sources-2.4.20-r1 and the latest evms-1.2.1-r1 there are several error messages displayed while trying to use evms. lostlogic, Im getting the exact same thing with xfs-sources (this means livecd also) Cant find any info on this. So if you happen ot find it, pass it on please
seemant has the same problem too.
I dunno... I'm looking into it now... already verified that I was using the correct version of EVMS patch in the kernels...
This is a evms problem, its a non-fatal error thats confusing ppl. Evms devs suggest removing /lib/evms/libe2fsim.1.2.1.so should be fixed next version of evms
Well the recommended version for the 2.4.20 kernel and the 2.5.46+ kernels is evms-1.9.0 which is a pretty radical departure from the previous EVMS. It is slated to become EVMS 2.0. I've already written an ebuild that seems to work on my system.
Ignore me <<< We are having Bugzilla database issues.
