Bug 162807 – dev-tex/europecv depends on dev-tex/latex-unicode

When creating a latexdocument with class europecv the following error occurs:
/usr/share/texmf/tex/latex/europecv/europecv.cls:296:File `ucs.sty' not found. \RequirePackage

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
emerge --unmerge dev-tex/latex-unicode dev-tex/europecv
emerge dev-tex/europecv
Actual Results:  
dev-tex/latex-unicode will not be installed

Expected Results:  
dev-tex/latex-unicode should be installed as a dependency to dev-tex/europecv

I can confirm the -r1 ebuild posted above is working perfectly for me on x86.

I searched for europecv, but did not find this bug. Therefore the duplicate. Any ideas?

Same for me actually, though the regular search finds it withour problem. Don't know why that would be...
