Bug 162706 – net-www/netscape-flash-9.0.31.0 sound slow and low pitch on some sites

Using mozilla-firefox and net-www/netscape-flash-9.0.31.0, the sound on some streaming sites is slow and the pitch lowered. It sounds a bit like a 45rpm vinyl being played at 33rpm or a stretched tape. It only seems to happen on live streaming where the sound comes from a microphone. Pre-recorded movies etc (for example from youtube.com) play with sound at the correct pitch and speed. 

The same sites play perfectly with net-www/netscape-flash-7.0.68.

I should have said that I am using www-client/firefox-2.0.0.1-r2

We cannot fix this, you need to bug Adobe. Sorry.
