Yep, I agree, I have found a bug where if you use the right hand keypad to enter numbers into the preferences (like seed a game, or set game speed) then you get the digit plus some garbage. If you leave the garbage in, the game just uses the digits, or you can delete the garbage, or use the top row of keys. So I'd say stabalise this, overall.
