Hi guys, sorry to again get you into this, but can anybody have a look ?
Mine tries all the ibiblio mirros, and then get it from the real site ...
is there a known issue here ?

Phil Franks: Does it quit after it cannot find it on the mirrors, or does it
download it from the real site ? You should remember that things
change often, and the mirrors are not always that fast, so as
long as you actually do get the file ....

Same problem here. I stopped it after waiting 20 minutes. Can;t find it on oregon server, then tries ibiblio. When it times out it just keeps trying ibiblio. I never wind up getting the file. I manually checked many mirrors and cannot find the file.

azarah: same here (first tries several mirrors and then fetch it from
probo.com). i put the zip file to cvs.g.o:/space/distfiles-local/,
it should be on our mirrors soon.
Comment 4 Phil Franks 2003-02-24 14:00:19 UTC
Ok, it just appeared on ibiblio. The problem was I haven't been able to
connect to ibiblio for a while. For me, the European mirrors are about
ten times faster. Even still, its been missing from the mirrors for
over a week - i thought they would have been updated at least once a
week?

If the file is going to automatically appear on the mirrors in time then
I guess this bug can be closed
Comment 5 Martin Schlemmer (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-02-24 14:02:09 UTC
Nick, maybe have a look at mirror handling when you have the time, or dup this
if you already have such a bug ?
Comment 6 Seemant Kulleen (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-02-24 15:27:19 UTC
I'll toss it onto the mirrors in a few minutes
