Gnome-2.16.2 depends on gnome-themes-2.16 and i have to edit the ebuild to allow for gnome-themes-2.16.1.1
On my system, some icons using HighContrast-SVG appear as red discs. I opened those icons in Inkscape to take a look at the xml behind them, and they actually are red discs. Basically, this is how the theme ships and there isn't much we can do about it. Unless you're having a different bug, I suggest you open a bug report in gnome's bugzilla. Otherwise feel free to reopen this bug, but please check in /usr/share/icons/HighContrast-SVG which icons you have/don't have, and see if they work in firefox/inkscape/whatever svg renderer you like. Thanks
