Description Steve 2007-01-16 15:44:53 UTC
I am emerging dev-lang/php with MySQL USE flag. When I get to mysql-init-scripts-1.1, it throws up the following error on the step:
Checking auxfile checksums [!!]

!!! /usr/portage/dev-db/mysql-init-scripts/files/mysql.rc6
!!! Reason: Failed MD5 verification

The ebuild then dies.

The Portage guide says to submit a bug report for this if one isn't already submitted. It also says not to re-generate the digests as it may make the problem worse.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge mysql-init-scripts

Actual Results:
Digest verification failed:
/usr/portage/dev-db/mysql-init-scripts/files/mysql.rc6
Reason: Failed on MD5 verification

Expected Results:
It should have installed the scripts.

I re-sync'd to make sure I had the latest portage tree.

From what I can find, the ebuild was moved on Jan 12, which may have been when this error popped up.
