mkdir -p /mnt/cdxy && mount -o loop /path/to/iso.iso /mnt/cdxy Does this work in this case?
I'm not sure exactly what you're trying to do; if I try to open an ISO, I have two options: open with CD creator, and open with Archive Manager. Archive Manager opens a window with the directory tree inside the ISO correctly. If this is not what you're trying to do, please give a more detailed description of the problem. (Even in file browser mode, I cannot treat an ISO like a directory, and wouldn't expect to be able to.)
Steps to Reproduce: 1.Nautilus 2.16.3: mode file browser 2.try to extract an isoimage: right-click on this isoimage. And select "extract here". 3.This only creates an empty folder; the folder does not contain any files (which are included in the isoimage). Function open with archive manager works well.
This is the upstream bug. They say it's fixed on the trunk (and 2.17.90 works correctly), but I can't find the relevent commit that actually fixed the problem.
And, fwiw, ubuntu just shipped a 2.17.5 version and said "fixed". So, unless someone can find the actual commit that fixed this, so I can patch, I'm going to close this upstream. It will work in 2.18.0
