cannot successfully merge glib-2.12.4-r1 with the test feature set in portage.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. set test feature in portage (/etc/make.conf)
2. emerge --sync
3. emerge glib

Actual Results:  
1 of 50 tests failed -> no successful merge

Expected Results:  
0 of 50 tests failed -> successful merge

this is on a x86 machine running an up to date gentoo hardened.

Reopen if the test still fails in 2.12.7.
