I first sent a bug report for scribus : see bug 147925 (https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=147925). This bug is considered now as closed and I was advised to fill in a bug for immqt. When I launch scribus (without options), everything runs fine, except the property palette. When I try to change a numerical value in the property palette (i.e. resize an object or set its X and Y position), this value is automatically reset to 0, either when I enter the value with the keyboard or when I try to change it by clicking on the arrows located on the right of value box. This problem disappears when I run 'LC_ALL=C scribus' It seems that this bug is related to immqt. Scribus is the only app affected. On my system, qt is installed with USE='immqt'. I have rewritten our custom spinboxes in a qt4 test app and this issue no longer shows up on target distros (ubuntu etc) that force this option in their qt builds. This will not be fixed in Scribus < 1.3.5.
Julien, either this bug if fixed or I didn't understood what you mean. Please, try scribus-1.3.3.11 and report back.
Should be fixed in Portage with 1.3.5.1 bump (since it's swithing Qt3 to Qt4).
