This'll eventually go into our desktop application-specific information, but Charlie, can you please clean this up and resubmit after reading [1]? It needs to be cleaned up to a certain minimum level. Right now, it doesn't even validate as GuideXML (run xmllint --valid --noout file.xml to see what I mean). Thanks. Right, XML is invalid, please do validate. Could you also explain WTF this is all about? Why and when would you need to upgrade profiles? Been using firefox since 0.8, still no idea why I'd need to fiddle with my profiles. Thanks.
As many devs believe the guide is useless. I am closing the bug license for the doc is now changed to my own license .. Gentoo has no rights to the info.

I don't believe we need a non-Gentoo-specific document such as this in our repo. Also, the document itself does not specify when (as in, how often) or why it might be required; there's no background on the update process and why it might fail, and thus does not put forward sufficient reason for its existence. Still, credit to the author/editor for suggesting it. /set flame_shield ON
