ASUS CUR-DLS Motherboard : The Kernel can't see the two 53c896 scsi controlers.

Then i list the "/proc/pci" there is no 53c896 controler.

I have tryed cd: gentoo-basic-x86-1.4_rc2.iso and gentoo-grp-i686-1.4_rc2.iso.
I have upgraden from Bios-veriosn 1003 to 1009.

How about the 1.2 CD?

I don't see the problem on gentoo version 1.2. The two scsi 53c896 controlser are detected corectely.

If the problem isn't on the 1.2 boot cd, then use that cd to install gentoo.
I always uses the 1.2 cd to install from, because the 1.4 cds doesn't like my promise raid controller.

The livecd-basic-x86-2003011400.iso fix the problem
