The old bk_client 1.1 no longer works at copying out repositories it seems, they just fail with "ERROR-BAD CMD: export, Try help"

This will possibly be nessecary for MYSQL-slotted . ( eclass editing etc )

Unfortunately, the documentation for bk_client is -shockingly- missing.

I have modified the eclass to work for the first time, ( its simply a case of replacing the argument "sfioball" with "bkf clone" assuming its installed in path ), but due to the lack of documentation, haven't worked out how to make subsequent updates work.

Reproducible: Always

Oh thats convenient. *rolls eyes*
I just start playing with something, and it gets taken away, I had presumed the masking was due to introduction of a new system (like Xorg & Kde have done in the past ie: kde-meta ) not the removal of an old.

So, just a request that people possibly state which in the masks.

I was wanting a way to have a mysql with debugging enabled in concurrent existence with one without debugging, so i could switch on the debugging version in a time of need ( as i dont want to be running with debugging fulltime as it is very slow and can generate 5 Gig of tmp logs in a very short time )

Any suggestons?

It should never have been commited in the first place, needs *way* more testing before being possibly re-introduced to portage again; plus we are lacking the resources to maintain such thing in the tree at the moment. Don't expect to see this back in portage tree any time soon, sorry. Might re-appear in mysql overlay [1] for testing once more important things are finished.
