Description rainer 2007-01-13 09:02:40 UTC
I am trying to use kopete from a default KDE installation with kdenetworks. Despite having set use flags "yahoo", "icq" in make.conf, kdenetworks seems to be compiled without these use flags settings.Hence, when starting kopete, I get the following error message:

# /usr/kde/3.5/bin/kopete
Session management error: Authentication Rejected, reason : None of the authentication protocols specified are supported and host-based authentication failed

Behavior is the same with stable (3.5.5-r1) and testing version (3.5.5-r2) of kdenetwork.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Set use flags yahoo and icq in make.conf
2.KDE install
3.start kopete

Actual Results:
# /usr/kde/3.5/bin/kopete
Session management error: Authentication Rejected, reason : None of the authentication protocols specified are supported and host-based authentication failed

Comment 1 rainer 2007-01-13 09:11:04 UTC
Ok, this authentication error is caused by something else, but kopete does not connect with Yahoo or ICQ protocol, and I suspect that the reason is that it is compiled without these flags?
Comment 2 rainer 2007-01-13 09:20:23 UTC
Sorry, it is working, I made some mistake. But I do not understand why the use flags are not shown.
