Hi,

Were you always able to reproduce this problem? Also, what do you have your USE flags set to?
Comment 2 Jason Wever (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-03-05 09:17:07 UTC
User replied to say his use flags are as follows

use flags were "-X -gtk -qt tcpd pam -static"

and that it was reproduced.

Will attempt to replicate.
Comment 3 Jason Wever (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-04-30 12:19:43 UTC
If you try removing the ebuilds (like rm -rf /usr/portage/app-admin/aide/*), then emerge sync'ing and then emerging aide again, does it still reproduce this error?

I've tried testing it across 5 systems and I have been unable to replicate it.
Comment 4 Jason Wever (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-05-12 22:39:16 UTC
Unable to replicate. If you can come up with a way to replicate or this problem is still happening feel free to re-open the case.
Comment 5 a-wall 2003-06-30 11:01:04 UTC
It will fix if we port it.
Comment 6 Jason Wever (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-06-30 11:58:48 UTC
If you can provide some more info as to what exactly needs to be ported and why you think it would work, that would be great.
Comment 7 Jason Wever (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-08-13 12:57:07 UTC
Is this problem still happening?

If so is it on one system or many?

Are you running with stable or testing keywords (sparc or ~sparc)?

What version of portage?

Unable to reproduce across multiple systems. Need more information from ticket creator.

Recent Gentoo Bugzilla move caused the status of this to change. Changing
back.
