Please keyword www-client/fetch-1.0 ~amd64 as it emerges with no errors, and successfully downloads files, just as it does on my PIII system.

Emerge --info is in Additional Information section.

Timed out, no metadata for 0 seconds

Doesn't seem to work for me.

That would be because you need [-t or --timeout number of seconds without data before giving  up  (less  than  0 means don't time out)].
Fetch gives that error anytime it's not there. I emerged it on a PIII system and get the same behavior. Apparently the default is 0.

Thanks for the info. I have added the keyword as it works with the timeout set not to 0.
