I am the admin of the rsync server in question. Could you please mail me when there are problems like this one so I know I have to sort them out?

I believe the mirror was never "two days behind" but I did have to shut it down twice in the last two days to do some upgrades - once for less than two hours on the 20th and once today - the 22nd for about 90min or so... This could be a cause for the behavior you thought you were experiencing.

Please do comment if there are still problems. I finished messing around with the server and I will be unavailable in the next month or so, so let's sort this out now.

The 'days behind' is curtasy of a multiple checks of the
metadata timestamp which is updated from rsync1 every time
you sync up. It's right now, so I'll put you back into rotation.
