Description Abhishek Amit (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-02-21 04:12:26 UTC
When emergeing app-text/aiksaurus if fails with many errors similar to this:
/usr/include/g++-v32/cwchar:138: `fgetwc' not declared. I get the same error
using  aiksaurus-0.15 and -r1. I will attch the complete log. I have a K6,
running 1.4_rc2, and I used a stage3 for install. I do not have any wild
CFLAGS(just -march=k6 -O3 -pipe")

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
emerge aikasurus

Actual Results:
Emerge fails

Expected Results:
aikusurus should install

Portage 2.0.47-r2 (default-x86-1.4, gcc-3.2.1, glibc-2.3.1-r2)

use flag-o-magic to filter out k6 k6-2 and k6-3
Comment 3 Abhishek Amit (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-02-21 11:36:02 UTC
I don't think the march has anything to do with it, as I removed it from my CFLAGS and got the same error.

I'm sorry I didn't respond before...
You should try upgrading to gcc 3.2.2 (and glic 2.3.2 wouldn't hurt either...). If you already
have, does aiksaurus still not build?
Remember you might need to empty your ccache if you're using that after ugprading gcc.
The aiksaurus homepage looks dead (possibly temporarily)... hm...

Actually, I'm sorry for not saying this earler. It was pobably my computer. I've not tired building this on another computer yet but I've noticed that many builds fail on this computer. This is most likely just another such problem. Please close the bug.

OK.
