Hi, GWN - gentoo-gwn@lists.gentoo.org - arrives always about a week late. For example the edition from 1.1.2007 arrived yesterday (8.1.2007). I guess on the website it appears on time, but from the mailing list it comes so late. It's a pity, since some actions mentioned there are not valid anymore. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. mail to gentoo-gwn+subscribe@gentoo.org Actual Results: GWN comes 1 week later then expected and it is not caused by mail delivery systems. The edition from 1.1.2007 started at Received: from [10.3.23.152] (216.215.202.4.nw.nuvox.net [216.215.202.4]) (authenticated bits=0) by smtp03.atlngahp.sys.nuvox.net (8.13.1/8.13.1) with ESMTP id l08HAO0j032053 (version=TLSv1/SSLv3 cipher=RC4-MD5 bits=128 verify=NO) for <gentoo-gwn@gentoo.org>; Mon, 8 Jan 2007 12:10:24 -0500 Expected Results: GWN should arrive on time.
Uhh... it was sent on the 8th. There's no bug here.
bleh...
Sorry... that should have been INVALID. Anyway, if you have an issue with the GWN, email the GWN staff. Infrastructure has nothing to do with the GWN being posted to the front page or the list. There's no bug. The GWN arrived when I sent it. If you'd like to see the GWN arriving "on time" the best thing you can do is help by writing articles so it takes me less time to compile the GWN. Nothing else will help.
