Please find attached an updated ebuild for the Ion window manager, development
version 20030131.

Key features of this ebuild:
* Proper dependencies (run-mailcap and truetype? (x11-libs/xft))
* Proper Xft2 support (using xft-config)

A previous ion-devel ebuild I submitted was assigned to [e-mail].

New ebuild for latest version of ion-devel (20030327).

Key features of ebuild:
- latest version
- adds /etc/X11/Sessions support
- improved freetype handling
- UTF-8 support (depends on >=virtual/glibc-2.2)

ion-dock-20030327.ebuild

A brand new ebuild for Per Olofsson's excellent ion-dock module.

This ebuild is designed to work with the ion-devel-20030327 ebuild I have
recently submitted.

Please put it in x11-plugins.

Note: there is currenty some duplicated code in the ion-devel & ion-dock
ebuilds. I'll move it into an eclass soon.

A couple of small problems with the ebuild:

The dependancy 'run-mailcap' doesn't resolve to anything.
The download is 'http://modeemi.fi/~tuomov/dl/${P}.tar.gz'.
I get a sed warning;
sed: -e expression #3, char 23: Unterminated `s' command
This is line 49, when munging the ion.1x manpage.

Apart from these details, thanks for creating a great ebuild for ion-devel. :)

As promised, here's the eclass version of the ion-devel and ion-dock ebuilds.

1. The run-mailcap dependency is in bug #16020

2. I've fixed the sed error.

Note: due to a minor bug in portage
(http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=6033) you'll need to:
1. cp ion.eclass /usr/local/portage/eclass
2. cp ion-devel-20030327-r1.eclass /usr/local/portage/x11-wm/ion-devel
3. cp ion-dock-20030327-r1.eclass /usr/local/portage/x11-wm/ion-dock
4. export PORTDIR_OVERLAY=/usr/local/portage # NEEDED!
5. emerge ion-devel ion-dock
