I see a lot of questions on IRC and forums (possibly bugs, altough i don't get them) about portage mentioning it will downgrade something when it is actually installing something new in a lower slot. See bug #13729 for the relevant bugreport about this, i thought it might be worth mentioning as long as this issue is open.
I would mention it, but how close is it to being fixed?
fixed in cvs... kinda anyway. It's smarter, but not that smart.
