Description Dan Bowtell 2003-02-19 14:55:12 UTC
Cannot build mozilla with Portage 2.0.47 but it builds when downgraded to 2.0.46
with no other changes to system. Problem encountered with mozilla 1.2.1 and 1.3b
and probably other versions. /usr/lib/portage/bin is set in PATH variable.

Mozilla 1.3 isn't in portage.

It looks like 'emake' is being passed to make for some reason.
make[1]: emake: Command not found

Post: emerge -v info

Azarah can you shed any light on this?

This was probably related to the not-quite-root issue.
Probably fixed in cvs.
Comment 4 Martin Schlemmer (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-02-22 06:22:31 UTC
moz-1.2.1-r5 works fine here with same version of portage. Ill go for a
screwup in whatever ebuild was used for moz-1.3b. Note that he do not use
the usermode stuff ...
