emerge -C dev-db/mysql && emerge dev-db/mysql does it. now ldconfig -p | grep mysql shows the libraries although they were there before!? simple re-emerge of mysql didn't help
Taking this away from goats... Has nothing in common w/ Gentoo Bugzilla product, read the descriptions please.
