Hello, 
as said in the title, sylpheed-claws complains when i launch it about the absence of 
/usr/lib/ssl/cert.pem 
 
$ sylpheed-claws  
ssl_init: warning, can't open /usr/lib/ssl/cert.pem 
ssl_init: it means that certificates' signatures won't appear as Correct, 
ssl_init: even if they should. Check your openssl install. 
 
i'm running openssl 0.9.6g

/usr/share/man/man3/SSL_CTX_set_cert_store.3.gz

Anyway, as i don't use ssl functionnality of sylpheed-claws, everything is just fine

not a sylpheed bug, I think some setup work has to be done on SSL. I'm gonna close out.
