When I'm using mplayer with 16 bit resolution I have a problem.
The screen of mplayer with a video has a lot of blue dots.
With other video outputs works without blue dots but the other video outputs don't works well with aixgl+beryl+i915.

Please try switching your video to a color depth to 24 bit and see if that corrects the issue for you. Beryl will work in 16 bit depth but should be run in 24 bit for it to work the best.

I can already switch to 24bits and the bug is fixed.
