Description Techie2000 2003-02-18 18:20:58 UTC
I boot the LiveCD and everything is good. However my NIC is not seen at all.
When I do modprobe tulip no error messages or any other messages come up.
However ifconfig only shows lo. No eth0 before or after the modprobe. Yes, I'm
sure the NIC uses the tulip chipset because that's the driver I was using back
when I had 1.2 installed and it worked fine with the 1.2 CD and install.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Boot the LiveCD

2. Try to get the NIC working

3.

Actual Results:
It doesn't work.

Expected Results:
It should come up with eth0 when I type ifconfig, and I should be able to
configure it for my network.

Don't know why, but it now works for me. No rhyme or reason...
