The version 0.10.0 of FreedroidRPG is out, therefore an update of the gentoo ebuild would be required.

FreedroidRPG ebuild

Here is an ebuild.

It's based on old freedroidrpg ebuild. It adds support for opengl , gtk editors, and freedesktop icon.
It lacks maybe ogg/vorbis support that is autodetected by the configure, to play music during the game.
It has been tested successfully on ~amd64.
