A Kadu 0.5.0-rc ebuild would be welcome and worth testing before Kadu reaches 0.5.0 final.

I've asked Marcin Kryczek when he's going to resolve this bug and he said: "I have no intention resolving this bug; I don't develop gentoo anymore; I don't have time for this" So we have to change assignation of this bug, and resolve it by ourselves. In my opinion it is worth considering, but you have to ensure that user "sarven" is interested in maintaining his ebuild. Anyway, his ebuild needs a strong testing because of including some old, unsupported modules: kadu-xmms, while xmms is deleted from the portage; kadu-spy - which seems not to be compilable for me and makes a lot of mess in the Gadu-Gadu network (improper use of it is considered as an abuse by the GG operators and the kadu itself is blamed, nobody cares about things like "modules" for it). My few ideas: - split extramodules flag into more local flags: one for each module, - enable some new modules (for example: orangembox_sms, which allows to send SMS to ANY network in the world via the orange.pl Multibox account). I've also added working kadu-0.5.0.ebuild above.

I can do one ebuild witch USE Flags for each module, and delete Spy and XMMS modules. I think that today I'll publish it on forum.
I'll take this bug, kadu-0.5 should be added to portage soon.
