I always have a fake message in my spam folder. Deleting it make it appear again later.
That really tells us a lot... What's "fake spam"? TB version? emerge --info?

Thunderbird version 1.5.0.9 (20061223) The fake spam is an empty message (no subject, no body) with epok date (1970).
