Accents are not displayed correctly, I get weird symbols instead. I'm using the iso-8859-1 encoding, and all other french sites work fine. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
As far as I can tell the whole gentoo.org site is encoded using UTF-8. Using Moz 1.2.1 works just fine for me but I often need to manually switch (View -> Character Coding) to UTF-8 or Latin1 (or Western ISO-8859-1 if you prefer) to view the page properly with accents and all (cyrilic, chiness, etc).. However, fiddling too much with format conversions can lead to an unviewable page (no matter which format) as the french GWN front-page suffers (see below for uri), at least for me. http://www.gentoo.org/news/fr/gwn/gwn.xml
I'm also using moz 1.2.1, I tried with iso-8859-1 and utf-8 settings, and neither works correctly. All other iso-8859-1 encoded french pages work fine. The following utf-8 encoded page also works for me : http://www.columbia.edu/kermit/utf8.html I can't see the french accents when reading french GWN, but they are correctly diplayed on the columbia.edu page.
this should be fixed.
