Description trefoil 2006-12-26 07:22:46 UTC
Hello, I was trying to increase vorbis encoding speed on my Pentium 3 laptop. I found the filters for -mno-ieee-fp and -march=pentium? are no longer required. I looked up the referenced bugs, and they both apply to gcc-3.2.x. I tested with the aoTuV patch and without, at multiple quality settings.

Portage 2.1.1-r2 (default-linux/x86/2006.1/desktop, gcc-3.4.6, glibc-2.3.6-r5, 2.6.18-gentoo-r5 i686)

I'm tired of seeing this and I no longer have a Pentium? computer.
