In the prelink guide, there's a tip telling that if you can't emerge prelink you should then try to compile and test by yourself typing './configure', 'make' and 'make test'. In prelink-20021002-r1, the test target isn't named test but check, so you have to type 'make check' and not 'make test'. This is not so tragic, you just need to read the INSTALL file ;)
