Description eric sammer 2003-02-18 04:33:21 UTC
attached is a new ebuild for the recently released postgresql 7.3.2

the new release contains a number of recently found memory leak and core dump
fixes and is recommended by the PG team (http://www.postgresql.org). this ebuild
is just an updated version of the 7.3.1 ebuild found in
$PORTAGE/dev-db/postgresql/ which is currently masked. it was tested and works
(including the ebuild config portion) on a maintained and current gentoo
installation but only one box was available for testing (x86). (apologies if
i've missed anything - this is my first ebuild submission)

Reproducible: Always

What's up? Can anyone put this into portage... ?

I added this ebuild to portage as unstable.
Please test.
Comment 4 Clemens Schwaighofer 2003-03-13 07:09:00 UTC
with this ebuild I can't call config for the firs time install.

if I call "ebuild ... config" I get

/usr/sbin/ebuild.sh: line 1065: pkg_config: command not found

do I need this for first init of postgres? I think so. I can't su into user postgres because he says /var/db/posgresql does not exists.
