I just tried it on my box but it worked for me with current ebuild. Can you run revdep-rebuild to make sure everything is consistent. Also please look if there is a config.log somewhere in the dir
Sorry, but i maked emerge net-libs/libnet and emerge snort. Installed these and the revdep-rebuild it is clear. Othervise new intall was therefore the revdep-rebuild not do help.
As you have the react flag enable, the ebuild depend on libnet because in the ebuild there is this line : react? ( ~net-libs/libnet-1.0.2a )
Not was enough. That must by one major required.
