Description Adrian Pavone 2006-12-22 20:48:01 UTC
I'm using an AMD64 Gentoo system, with an ATI PCIe X800 XL, with xorg-server-1.1.1-r1, mesa-6.5.1-r4 (masked, was previously using r1 with same results), and x11-drm-20060608, with libdrom-2.3.0 having been a dependency of mesa.

I've installed x11-DRM, compiled all of the xorg platform with radeon as the graphics card, and glxinfo reports Direct Rendering: Yes. But if I attempt to run glxgears, or any other GL application, "drmRadeonCmdBuffer: -22 (exiting)" is the result.

This same bug is listed in the link below, with a resolution. I don't appear to be using r300 (lsmod shows radeon, drm, agpgart and rtc), but I presume the workaround would be about the same?

Build fails on OpenBSD/i386??? I guess not. Reopen with a correct link please.
