Description Thomas Kear 2006-12-20 21:17:27 UTC
The USE_EXPAND added to this ebuild does not allow the user to disable all features, currently if all options are off, all are downloaded and installed.

As a user of foo2zjs, but not owning any of the HP or Konica-Minolta printers that have been provided with USE entries, I would prefer that they could all be disabled, rather than having to enable one thing I don't want to avoid having 10 things I don't want

Well sorry...

1/ This doesn't make much sense, what are you using it for if you don't have any devices?

2/ Seriously breaks all users that don't set FOO2ZJS_DEVICES, they'll get a useless thing. It defaults to all for a reason.
Comment 3 Stefan Schweizer (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-12-29 13:58:11 UTC
all off = just set FOO2ZJS_DEVICES="-(list all the possible devices)"

all on is better as a default option because it "just works"
