Folks, the mplayer autoconf fails on the compiler version check. It's looking for either 2.95, or 3.x/4.x. Naturally, this is all fine and dandy for GCC, but I'm trying to use ICC to compile it, and as the version returned is 9.1, it fails.

Would it be possible to simply modify the ebuild, in order to allow the fine working of ICC? Thanks very much.

We don't support ICC; you need to request a fix upstream.
