This is about /etc/inputrc. On line 16, it says, # set input-meta on Without uncommenting this line on shells, (probably all the applications using 'readline'), it fails to write in korean. Can we uncomment it by default? Is there a reason why it is commented? Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.

This is also the inputrc for current stable baselayout. Please remove your /etc/inputrc and remerge baselayout. Bug is invalid.
