The following guides for setting up chroots are available with Gentoo.org: http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/base/x86/chroot.xml http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/base/amd64/howtos/index.xml?part=1&chap=2 However, there is a specific tool designed to make the life of developers working on the shared dev machines easier: please put this documentation for dev-util/devel-chroots on doc/en into the Gentoo Developer Documentation section and spread the love... http://dev.gentoo.org/~pappy/tmp/devel-chroots-intro.xml Same file is (or should be, if not shout) accessible via gentoo-projects/devel-chroots/devel-chroots-2.0.0/doc/en/... TIA Alex

Why not just add it as part of your own /proj/ documentation and then the x86 and amd64 projects can link to it from their own chroot guides?
