The virtual is not masked but its depandancies are.

dev-java/sun-jdk-1.6.0 is masked by ~x86 keyword but the jdk virtual is not. The virtual requires sun-jdk-1.6.0.

Simple fix, mask the virtual until the jdk's are ready to go.

Um, sure it is masked ~x86. Do you have it in your package.keywords?
