Copying the existing ctrlproxy-3.0_alpha1.ebuild file over worked fine for me. Also I removed the dep on tdb due to bug #148001 and it seems to work fine.

The compile part was fast, but it seems there's something wrong with the installation procedure, somewhat related to the docs. I'll attach my ebuild, which is based in the latest alpha already in portage (hardmasked), with tdb dependency removed. Hopefully the package maintainer will have a look at it.

3.0.1 in CVS, i didn't had any problem regarding the slow install, though. Thanks
