Hi, I'm not sure if I'm at the right spot with this, but here goes anyway. Gtkmmm 2.10.2 has a really annoying bug in the Gtk::Adjustment constructor (http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=369335) causing many spinbuttons etc. to be initialised with the wrong value. The bug is fixed from version 2.10.3 onwards. Will there be an ebuild soon for a version >=2.10.3 ? The latest stable release of gtkmm is 2.10.6. Cheers, Burnce
Burnce, have you tried bumping the ebuild yourself in a local overlay? I can take a look at it in the next couple of days, but trying it yourself and reporting your results can go a long way to get the bump done. @gnome-mm: may I go ahead with the bump?
R
Rémi, Thanks for your reply. I didn't get around to trying the bump myself till now due to end of year stress and then the holiday. Here are my findings: 1) gtkmm 2.12.6 depends on >=glibmm-2.12.3 2) gtkmm-2.10.2-remove_atk_from_gtk_pc_during_configure.patch is no longer necessary (the changes are already present in the official source) 3) Everything is running smoothly under gtkmm 2.12.6 with glibmm 2.12.4 Cheers, Burnce

Burnce, thanks for testing this, both glibmm and gtkmm are now in CVS. Just so you know, you don't need to add SRC_URI at all since the tarballs are on gnome's ftp. The "gnome2" eclass handles this automagically. :)
